Description: RARE Longaberger 2006 Small Plaid Gift Box Basket, Protector & Wooden Lid NEW. This is a beautiful woven basket in Holiday colors of Evergreen, Christmas Red, and Warm Brown with a plaid pattern inside and out. The set includes the basket, plastic protector, and lid. This set is 28 years old and was only sold for one month during the Holiday season in 2006. The set is brand new and has been stored in my climate controlled smoke free home since purchasing. This is a set that can be used at any time of the year. The red, green, and golden brown colors are reminiscent of Fall, rich earthy tones that speak of nature. It was designed to be used as a gift box for a Christmas present that could be used year round. It could easily be used in the kitchen as a family recipe box or a remote box in the family room because of its neutral colors. This basket has a wooden bottom, which is harder to weave and it supports more weight. I am retired now and downsizing my own personal Longaberger collection that has been collected over many years.
