Description: This is a superb quality carved tiger oak or quarter sawn oak huntboard that can easily be used as a backbar or liquor bar. The piece is carved in the manner of R.J. Horner and is most definietly American. The piece dates to the 1880-90s era and has a wonderful carved canopy inside the top of the cabinet. The piece does come apart into two sections. The finish is entirely original and features shell carvings and faces of cherubs as well as unique hand-hammered brass hardware. Measures 74 wide x 86.5 tall x 26 deep. The serving height is 38 tall.
