Description: Thislistingisfora nice piece of World War 2 history - a 1938 British Guiana (Guyana) 1 dollar {P-12} "Short Snorter" banknote. * I count 14 signatures (but may be more - see pics) The banknote alone (w/o sigs) is a pretty rare one. But this one is a "Short Snorter". The backstory of short snorters is very cool. They are banknotes signed by all the people on a specific aircraft (usually bombers). They became very popular during World War 2 and continue on, in a lesser use to current day. The banknote itself is in VG condition w/ bright colors. But w/ several folds, tape staining on one side, and what appears to be tiny staple holes the other side. But no tips or tears. Fast&FREES/H(w/tracking) insideUSonly.
