Description: WELCOME FELLOW EBAY COLLECTORS TO KEITH'S KOLLECTABLES, EBAY'S PREMIERE SELLER OF VINTAGE RADIO SHOWS OF EVERY GENRE AND UNIQUE COLLECTABLES GREETINGS FELLOW COLLECTORS OF GREAT MUSIC AND RARE CLASSIC RADIO SHOWS! PLEASE DON'T FORGET MY SPECIAL OFFER OF A TWENTY PERCENT DISCOUNT WHEN YOU BUY FIVE ITEMS OR MORE AT ONE TIME FROM MY STORE. IT IS THE LEAST I CAN DO FOR ALL MY FRIENDS WHO, LIKE I , ARE ALWAYS LOOKING FOR A GREAT DEALAND IF YOU LIKE THE OLDIES FROM THE DAWN OF ROCK WITH GEMS FROM THE 70'S AND 80'S THROWN IN FOR GOOD MEASURE ALONG WITH THE BEST OF CANADIAN ROCK, YOU HAVE COME TO THE RIGHT PLACE! SO HERE IS THE BIG QUESTION: WHAT IS A RADIO SHOW? WHY COLLECT THEM? WHERE DO THEY COME FROM? Well, those are good questions, especially if you have never known of them. Radio Shows are syndicated productions by one of several large and small distributors who supply broadcast product to radio stations normally during weekends when the usual air personalities have a break. Many air on Saturday or Sunday evenings or during overnight segments. They often feature some of the best known voices for their genre from across the country thus the Dick Clark's and Casey Kasem's and Rick Dees and Dick Bartley and so many others. People collect them for various reasons. Some just collect the series because they like it and want them all. Some collect their favorite artists or genre of music. Rather than an album by the artist or a compilation bought at Wal Mart or downloaded through iTunes or wherever, they have a unique presentation of their favorite artist or music not available anywhere else and always with dj comments which were very entertaining. Some collect interviews with their favorite artists as most shows had interview segments. Some collect commercials especially old car commercials but certainly not limited to only those. AND, these shows are in limited quantity. They were broadcast live weekly over a three year period with broadcast quality shows pressed just for the Canadian station on which they aired. Keith's Kollectables is the only place where you can buy them and there are literally no more than five of any one show surviving. When they are sold to collectors, they are gone forever. This show itself was pressed by the host and Keith's Kollectables is the only place that you can buy them. The host chose Keith's Kollectables because this is where collectors and music lovers come to find the best in music and radio shows.Radio shows were first distributed on reel to reel tape if the show goes back that far into the 60's, then later on lp, later on CD and even later (after 2000 for most shows) on CDR. Now they are not available at all to collectors since they are distributed by digital download much like you get your music from iTunes. These shows become rarer and rarer every day because the people who buy them hold on to them and the people who sell them, like me, are running out of them. My best radio station contact for these shows is out of shows and I am at the mercy of finding a good deal here and there but never from a regular source and maybe not from a radio station but other collectors. The shows that you get now and hold on to will never decrease in value and only increase. I have prided myself since the start to provide the best and fairest cost with a guarantee that you will be happy or I refund your money. I sell them for near what I bought them for. I give volume discounts and discount postage always. As the postal service increases their rates, my shipping rates over the years have decreased. And, I have one of the biggest radio show libraries in the world consisting of over ten thousand unique shows, so many that I don't even know all that I have and am sometimes amazed when I go to look for one show and find another that I did not realize I had. Finally, it is rock music at its best. Whether the show be from the 60's or 2000's, rock, countdown, oldies, country, classical, religious, jazz or big band, it is unique and contains the best music of the day. And you just can't find them anywhere. Even record stores that still exist will rarely have any. Radio shows are wonderful representations of the real golden age of music radio. And every radio show you buy is an original, not a copy, not a remake - all are limited editions in the low hundreds at most and most, like this special show, just a few. Once you get hooked, like me, it is a love affair for life! Welcome to the Club! My prices are guaranteed to save! Others say they are the lowest for radio shows on the internet - compare shop. Add their prices and shipping costs and compare with mine. You WILL save and the more you buy the more you save. And check my feedback. That says it all. I will make you happy. Now let's talk about this great series, JUKEBOX EXPLOSION Picture yourself back in the late 50's or 60's, even the 70's. You were at one with to your transistor radio listening to the top 40 presented by your local radio station. You had that radio glued to your ear or connected with the little earphone jack that immediately broke. Your local dj was great. He knew the music. He had the gift of talking which rarely occurs anymore. You loved the presentation of the music as much as the sounds. You liked the station jingles. And on weekends when the local dj's had off, you listened to either taped shows they did during the week to be played on the weekend or a syndicated radio show featuring one of the greats. It was the golden age of rock. Music was king and the dj's were just as popular. You can relive those days whether you grew up then or just wish you had, on only a handful of oldies shows. THIS IS ONE OF THEM. Most of you who know me, collectors who have dealt with me over the years, know that one of my favorite series of all time is this, JUKEBOX EXPLOSION One of the things this OLDIES FOCUSED radio show series did best was its specialty theme shows. MOST SHOWS AFTER THE FIRST HAD A DIFFERENT THEME THAT WAS DEVELOPED THROUGHOUT THE HOUR JUKEBOX EXPLOSION prided itself in being the definitive OLDIES show on the radio. Each week you were brought the best of music, stories and information. This show is a great example. AND, since the program was broadcast on a Canadian radio station there are a smattering of Canadian artists on every show most of whom you already know and love. Many you will discover for the first time are Canadian The appearance of Canadian artists is because Canadian law dictates that every music show on a station licensed in Canada must have a percentage of Canadian artists played to showcase the talent of Canadian performers. JUKEBOX EXPLOSION shows are a testimony and legacy to the early rock era's best from the United States, Canada, and the world ERICH REINHARDT, THE HOST OF THE SHOW, HAS REMASTERED EACH OF THE SHOWS HE HOSTED DURING HIS YEARS AT CRNC 90.1 FM IN WELLAND, ONTARIO THAT WERE AVAILABLE (THE SHOW WAS AIRED LIVE AND MANY SADLY WERE NOT RECORDED OR SAVED) AND THE ENTIRE AVAILABLE SERIES IS HERE FOR YOU. I HAVE LISTED THEM IN CHRONOLOGICAL ORDER AND YOU CAN GET THE WHOLE AVAILABLE SERIES EPISODE BY EPISODETHE ENTIRE SURVIVING SERIES IS ALSO AVAILABLE IN TOTAL ON MP3 IN MY STORE FOR A GREAT PRICE IF YOU ARE INTERESTED The cue sheets come with this show and are in excellent condition. Aside from the first few shows, the entire script for each show is included as part of the cue sheets. This show was the first broadcast and aired on MARCH 5, 2008 and is show #216IT FEATURES AS THE THEME, 'POT LUCK' Remember, when you buy this show, not only will you own the tunes but also interspersed between songs is fascinating commentary and many in depth interviews. Also, keep in mind that this and all the oldies shows are not just about the music - the music can be found anywhere. It is the mixture of great music and great announcing that makes it so entertaining. As well, it is a piece of radio history. You just aren't going to find these shows anymore. Think of what they will be worth in a few years! (IF you wanted to sell.) I am selling to share with other music lovers what I was able to get at a reasonable price; in fact, believe it or not, I paid a lot more than you will for most of these shows than you will. As always, I charge only shipping on the first show you buy for US buyers and for my international friends, so the more you buy the more money you will save. Good Luck and God Bless You.
