When purchased, was told this was a quilt top, however it looks different (wood grain is unusual compared to other quilt tops I have seen). Note that truss rod cover and volume/tone knobs feature custom wood with inlayed birds. Back cover plate also has “Paul Reed Smith” in script letters (a small part of the script is missing).
