Print Church of St. Michael the Archangel Signed Gatalsky V.B. 8/150 Matted 2001

Description: Vintage print of what may be the Church of St. Michael the Archangel in Kiev, Ukraine by V.B. Gatalsky (Russian cyrillic, Гатальский В.Б.). The print is signed, numbered 8/150, and dated in pencil in the lower right corner of the print (it’s covered by the matte). The artist’s printed signature and date are in the bottom center of the print as well. The matte measures approximately 11” x 14" and the matte opening measures approximately 7 7/16” x 9 3/8". It appears that the original painting may have been created in 2000 and prints were made in 2001 (based on the artist’s penciled signature, print number, and date). Estate sale find. The print appears to be in excellent used condition with minor wear on the edges and corners, including minor creases on the corners, and a small crease visible in the center of the back of the print (please see last photo). The print is also taped to the matte. The matte appears to be in excellent used condition with minor wear to the edges and corners and perhaps some stray marks on the back.
