Description: Up for auction is an antique hand painted wood trade sign advertising EMPIRE BOLT & NUT CO. EST. 1901. This was recently found at auction in the Lancaster County PA area. ~21.75 x 13.5". Quite primitive. Reinforced on back. Condition issues include age cracks, repairs, old nail holes, faded lettering, dirty. Wood seems pine grain. Knot between NUT and 1901.
