My flock is a mix of a whole range of different ages so I get eggs of various sizes and color shades. Egg size (or color shade) ranges that are due to age difference have absolutely NO EFFECTS on the size of the birds when they grow up or size of the eggs they'll be laying as the genetic makeup of a chicken remains the same throughout its life and does not change with age. If you have concerns about your egg tray fitting larger eggs, you can include a note with your purchase (or simply email me AFTER you place your order) requesting not to include larger eggs in your order and I'll be happy to accommodate your request.
