Description: Here is a lovely Pre-Mattel American Girl Doll Samantha by Pleasant Company--in played with condition. She is an early 1990s doll (an early and direct descendent of the white body Samantha) with the longer, lighter brown hair, feathery eyelashes and lovely complexion. The lettering Pleasant Company and the copyright sign are stamped on the back of her neck. White neck strings are intact. Tan cloth body is clean. She has some smudges and marks on her limbs from play. Her limbs are slightly squeezable in the way of the early dolls. Her arms are still fairly tight; her legs are loose and wobbly and could use restringing. She does stand independently, but with some difficulty. Long light brown hair is soft with very little dryness. Some thinning noted that would be expected from play. Feathery brown eyelashes frame lovely brown eyes; I note one or two missing.
