These tie rod assemblies provide incomparable strength and durability to your truck steering system. Featuring a 32% larger-diameter forged sleeve, 27% larger-diameter toe adjusting shaft, and 14% larger, stronger ball studs. The outer tie rod end features a spring-loaded ball-stud seat that maintains constant pressure and OEM steering knuckle taper. The inner tie rod end is adjustable through the end cap and contains a powdered metal ball seat as well as a rubber shim for clearance compensation. NOTICE: PPE Tie Rods are engineered to fit GM stock steering components. Some aftermarket steering manufacturers have changed the placement of the tie rod mounting perch on the front spindle, which then requires a shorter tie rod. The Stage3 Tie Rod outers are fully threaded internally and may be trimmed to accommodate the relocated aftermarket perch location. An experienced installer should measure to determine the appropriate trim length. Overextending the tie rod angle might cause damage to the inner tie rod or outer ball stud retaining assembly. Common causes include steep tie rod – steering rack angles, and overextension of modified suspensions. You MUST contact us within 30 days of the shipment date in order for us to accept a return. The item in which you are returning MUST be unused, uninstalled, in the original condition, and in the original packaging. To begin the return process you MUST contact us to obtain an RA number and RA form (if applicable) prior to sending the item back. Returns will be jeopardized at the customer’s expense if they are sent back without a return authorization number. All returned items are subject to a restocking fee of up to 20%. Labor, installation, surcharges or any other applicable fees from the original purchase are non-refundable. If you are returning an item due to an error caused by Rudy’s Performance Parts or its business partners (i.e., damaged or defective items, incorrect part shipped, etc.), we will cover all freight charges on the replacement items. We will not be able to send out a replacement part without payment. You are welcome to pay for a replacement item and then receive a refund when the original item is received back, otherwise, we won’t be able to send a replacement until the original item is back.
