Description: FROM MADEIRA WITH LOVE...! Found in an estate liquidation on Madeira Island Portugal. Vintage hand painted vintage ceramic figurine signed by the maker, "Berardos". This maker was known primarily for hand painted dinnerware. Figurines like this, depicting whimsical persons are considered quite rare. A shoeless well dressed dapper vagabond holding an umbrella stands 9 inches tall. I have inserted a standard size playing card in one photo as a reference for size. It remains close to its original condition free of chips, cracks or repairs. Any crudities in its making would be considered factory issues and the result of being hand crafted. MUCH OBLIGED
