ITEM DESCRIPTION: Nice circulated grade VG+ example of the 1922-D Lincoln cent. Scarcer semi-key date with some wheat lines. Unfortunately this year often suffers from weak strikes which this one does. Lots of these coins didn’t have wheat lines when they were struck brand new due to overused, worn dies. This is a technical “VF” because of the clear cheek and jaw separation on the obverse but the strike makes it look VG. Still a beautiful early coin. Wonderful set upgrade!
