Description: Passenger Car Interior KIT for IHC / Rivarossi Corrugated-Side (1940's) Coach [ HO ] Miscellaneous Railroad Company # 54Coach-RivCS This interior was designed to fit into the Rivarossi Corrugated-Sided (or Fluted-Side) Coach.This KIT consists of 2 pieces to create the interior. (Lead sheet is not included with the kit.)The two parts have a hidden interlocking system for assembly.There may be some trimming or filing involved.Super glue works well for this application, but please heed the warning below.Utilize a ruler or straight-edge to insure the assembled interior is straight.Each interior KIT is designed for the specified (model) passenger car.The interior KIT accommodates the car’s window and door placement. The interior kits are designed to make your passenger cars LOOK GOOD! There are notches and holes in the floor to fit around the various chassis protrusions. The interior has 27 double seats (54 coach seats) 2 lavatories, and a lounge. There are no arm-rests on the outside of the interior as they cannot be seen. (Arm rests on the outside would reduce the seat width.)Recommend gluing the separate pieces to the previously installed LSW078 with black automotive weather-stripping adhesive, or similar permanent adhesive.Please note: LSW products are not included in the interior kits. This interior WILL NOT properly match the Rivarossi Smooth-Side coach window placement. (Use the 58Coach-RivSS for smooth sided coaches.)If you are unsure if this will fit your passenger car, observe the chassis floor to determine if this matches you car. The product is manufactured from tan aliphatic polyester resin and can be painted. Great effort has been taken to provide a pleasing appearance. The walls are of adequate height so that lighting may be added.(Note: the Ravarossi passenger car roofs are not light-proof) The surface texture has been of great concern; we want to be the BEST! The seats are low, so you can see the “passengers” and to allow for the stiffening ribs of the chassis and installation of an LSW078 underneath the interior floor for car weight. Now you can see the people instead of their knees. The passenger’s feet have to be trimmed, but the appearance from the outside is great!Note: Miniature passengers are NOT included with your purchase.The "Example" pictured is a prototype interior and is slightly different than the production model. Warning! Do not install the interior in the passenger car sooner than 12 hours after using “Super Glue”. Cyanoacrylate adhesives release fumes that will attack and mar your windows and other surfaces. I attempt to provide the most accurate description possible. My intention is to prevent any surprises.
