NV008P NV008S So, you have your lovely PARD NV008 or NV008 LRF mounted on your Rifle, use your one shot Zero to get you shooting bang on the money but.......!!! When you look through your Eyepiece, the Reticle is low down on the screen ?? How do you get it back to the centre ?? The solution is to raise the rear of the NV008 up a tad. So, either go pay silly money (£75+) for and adjustable mounting system, start cutting up bits of tin cans or........or grab yourself a set of shims and raise the PARD unit up a tad from its original mounting bracket. *****Instructions for fitting**** Even though it seems like you may need to raise the back end of the PARD up a huge amount, it only usually needs a tiny adjustment to get the reticle back towards centre. So, try with the thinnest shim first. 1) Remove PARD mounting bracket (including PARD Unit) from Rifle (mark location before removal) 2) Flip over the Mounting Bracket and release the 3 counter sunk screws that attach the PARD to the Bracket. 3) Place your shim over the the furthest back mounting hole (the one closest to the Eyepice end) and fix PARD back onto the mounting bracket using the three original counter sunk screws. 4) Re-fit Mounting bracket and PARD back onto rifle scope rail in the same position you had it originally. 5) One Shot Re Zero Scope to Rifle (Y adjustment now needed) 6) This should now have moved your Reticle back upwards towards the centre of your screen. 7) If Reticle is still low after Zeroing, use next size shim up and repeat instructions 3 - 5) 8) If Reticle is now to high on screen after re Zero, uses thinner shim......and so on. *******IMPORTANT PLEASE READ******* *************Results and shim requirements will vary and will depend on Rifle configuration, Rifle Calibre, ammunition and zeroing distance etc********** ************* Please allow for minor variation in thickness due to the 3D printing process***************** INTERNATIONAL BUYERS - You are responsible for any Customs Import Taxes or Duty imposed by your country
