Description: π·π·π·π·π·π·π·π·π·π·Very collectible vintage. beautiful pair of airbrushed watercolor period artwork, ivory-colored with little dark decorative tiny dark decorative circles and matted. Frames raised somewhat from pictures and give them kind of a shadowbox look. Unsure of frame composition - could be bakelite, celluloid or another composite. I do not know. Plastics were used primarily for the war effort during the 40's. Each show handsome couples in period clothing - appear to be set in the 1700's or 1800's - I do not know. But very colorful and well-done. At bottom left is signed "Bernard c." and at very bottom is "Bernard Picture Co., Inc." (a little hard to see due to matting (cannot see on one of the pix. but the signature is there on both). As far as I can tell these are both prints and not actual paintings but difficult to tell sometimes as are framed under glass. Paper backing has printed "P2OCH." More legible on one pic. than the other. Frames are approx. 10" high x 9" wide x 1" deep - are raised up) and pictures are approx. 4.75" high x 3.75" wide. ************************************************************************Thank you for visiting/hope your offer wins.I ship from the U.S. I so appreciate positive feedback.Have a wonderful/safe day/eve........Linda (thriftytreasuresbyadambrent).***************************************************************
