Description: Original WW2 British Roual Navy Petty Officer Peaked Cap & Cover This sale is for a period peaked cap originally worn by a Petty Officer who served in the Royal Navy during Second World War. The cap is complete with an original foul weather cover. The cap is in overall very good original condition with the only defect being a couple of very small hole/mothing to the edge and a couple of loose stitches to the leather sweatband (see pictures). Made from natural fibres and features: George VI King's crown bullion and cotton insignia to the front denoting the rank of Petty Officer, which features a manufacturers label to the rear for Stephen Simpson Gold Silver Lace Manufacturer and Embroiderer, Preston (see pictures).
