Description: Original, new/old stock subdued pocket insignia for the 16th Special Operations Wing of the US Air Force, as worn on the obsolete Woodland Camouflage Battle Dress Uniform or BDU. The patch is fully-embroidered, with a finished, cut edge border. It measures 76mm by 80mm in size. These patches, and others, came from the supply room of a sew shop that had been in business in the Fort Lewis area since the Second World War era. That business recently closed down permanently and our shop bought a substantial amount of its vintage stock, including insignia for several older units that were also disbanded.
