Description: This is an original illustration created by the legendary Wayne Dunham (1920-2000). He was noted for his automotive work that was featured in many Detroit automotive brochures. The piece is unsigned but his stamp is noted on the backside of the illustration. Not a lot of his original work comes up for sale as he passed in 2000. This piece was featured in the October 1967 Reader's Digest article named, "The Greatest Auto Race of All". It features Dan Gurney & A.J. Foyt's #1 Ford GT40 Mark IV car in the lead (they won the race), followed by Chris Amon's #22 Ferrari 412 P, followed by Richard Attwood in #23 Ferrari 412 P.
