Description: This Ontario Knife Company OKC 8180 498 Marine Combat Knife & Leather Sheath is in excellent, clean condition overall and only shows mild signs of age, handling and storage. The blade is clearly marked "U. S. ONTARIO." The original factory edge is clean and intact. Light traces of age and storage can be noted on the blade and crossguard's finish however no signs of damage from abuse or neglect are detectable. It strongly appears that this blade has not been used or carried. Of note, there is a small amount of extra leather on either side of the crossguard, it appears to be untrimmed from the factory and has been left exactly as found. The stacked leather grip is clean and retains it's black finish. The pommel is securely pinned in place and shows expected finish wear. The black leather sheath is in excellent condition and retains the blade securely. The leather is strong and supple, no cracking or other damage can be detected. All metal hardware is clean and functions as you would expect. Please examine the photographs carefully for the best description of contents and condition.
