Description: For sale is a beautiful 1953 Omega Seamaster with a bumper automatic movement, and a gold capped case. The watch is running well, it was serviced by a reputable jeweler here on eBay when I bought it. Keep in mind, that was about 6 years ago, so I’m sure it could benefit from another service. It has a stainless steel back, and a gold capped case on top. There is some tarnishing and discoloration on the gold capping throughout, which I’ve tried my best to photograph. I believe this was due to a type of case I had been storing it in for some time. It is more or less visible depending on the lighting, so please check all of the photos and zoom in for the most accurate description of condition. The top two corners of the lugs are missing some of the gold capping, but again this is only noticeable in certain lighting at certain angles. Overall it is still a beautiful watch. Please use your best judgement when assessing the watch. If you felt so inclined, this gold capping could always be re finished by a jeweler.
