Description: For sale is a antique Witherby tang firmer chisel, weighing 3.9 oz., with steel measuring 1/2" wide X 5" long, with a nicely turned 5-5/16" long wooden handle, making up its 10-5/16" overall length. Signed "Witherby", the steel is in very good overall condition, with a good edge, which will respond well to honing and sharpening by a experienced hand. The 5-5./16" wooden handle is in excellent overall condition, with two small dents in the upper section, as shown in the last picture. Any honing, sharpening, cleaning and detailing is left up to you.
