It measures approx. 11” x 6 1/2”sight, and the frame measures approx. 16 7/8” x 12 3/8”. Provenance: the artwork was purchased from the artist in 2011. Boris Kuzmich Egorov was born in Znamenka city, Kirovograd region of Ukraine. He studied at Odessa Art School under N. Shelutno, N. Pavlyuk, and M. Todorov (1945-1950). Since 1951 he participated in regional, republican, and international exhibitions. He became a member of the Union of Artists of the USSR and Ukrainian SSR in 1972. The artist lived and was active in Zaporozhie, Ukraine. His artworks are in permanent collections of multiple museums in Ukraine and private collections in Ukraine and abroad.
