Description: №Kalen 1340 "Frosty" is an enchanting oil painting that encapsulates the serene essence of a winter's day. The artist has employed thick, confident brushstrokes to build up layers of texture, creating a tactile tapestry that vividly portrays the chilly landscape. The foreground is dominated by cool blues and lavenders, masterfully conveying the crisp, frozen ground covered in a thin layer of frost that sparkles under the gentle light of the winter sun. Amid this frosty expanse, strokes of pink and cream interrupt the cold hues, suggesting the stubborn persistence of life beneath the frost. These warm accents draw the viewer's eye and offer a delicate balance to the otherwise cool palette, echoing the warmth of the light that is sparsely yet effectively scattered across the canvas. In the middle ground, the silhouettes of bare trees rise starkly, their dark branches etched against the sky, with touches of white that imply a dusting of snow. The homes in the distance are portrayed with soft edges and muted colors, blending harmoniously with the landscape while providing a sense of human presence within the natural setting. The sky above is a dance of creamy yellows and gentle greens, colors that are unusual for a winter scene yet perfectly capture the unique luminosity of a cold, clear day. The sky's pastel colors contrast with the crispness below, lending a dreamlike quality to the scene that suggests the quietude and stillness of the world in winter's embrace. The entire painting is an exquisite representation of the season's dual nature—its starkness and its beauty. With each textured stroke and chosen hue, the artist has crafted a piece that invites us to feel the bite of the winter air, to see the brilliance of the frost, and to appreciate the serene, frozen moment captured in time. "Frosty" is not just a visual journey, but a sensory experience, encouraging one to pause and find beauty in the depths of winter's chill. *** ABOUT THIS PAINTING **** TITLE: "Frosty"* ARTISTS: Oksana Kalenyuk* SIZE: 15x20 cm/'5.90x7.87 inches' * MEDIUM: oil, canvas* HAND PAINTED: Original painting from our collection* CONDITION: Photos provide accurate information about the product.
