Description: O2 Torque ToolOxygen Sensor Access SolutionPOSESS BOTH UTILITY & DESIGN PATENTS -- TRADEMARK PROTECTED ONLY TOOL DESIGNED TO PROVIDE THE ACCESS REQUIRED TO REMOVE AN O2 SENSOR WITHOUT THE BENEFITOF A HYDRAULIC VEHICLE LIFT. Each tool created on a CNC machine and is currently made of annealed O1 Tool Steel. When you get under the car and place the O2 Torque Tool on the sensor, it sits there like a beacon. Each target vehicle has a unique height, width, and depth of area available to access the sensor when the vehicle is on jack stands or ramps. The "access solution" is the previously unavailable option of selecting a 1-1/4" wrench with a beam length, fastener head angle, and fastener head type to provide the "maximum effective degrees of travel" when accessing the sensor using the O2 Torque Tool. Offset tool-handle travel is diminished by inherent ratchet wiggle. Two, one, and even zero "ratchet clicks" are not uncommon when accessing hard-to-reach sensors with offset tools... if they fit All torque applied to O2TT is over center of the sensor, which is the most effective use of energy. With its flared base, the O2 Torque Tool is easily held in place with the wrench, allowing the entire process to be completed with one hand. The value of this becomes clear when accessing a hard-to-reach downstream sensor located on top of a hot exhaust. In comparison, a less productive exertion of force is applies along the side of the offset tool AND requires a second hand to keep the offset steady when twisting the offset. O2 Torque Tool itself does not need to be lifted off of the sensor during the process. The 1-1/4” will need to be lifted if it is not ratcheting, but this also requires only one hand. In contrast, the offsets are such that they must be lifted and repositioned on the sensor repeatedly during the process and always require that second hand. If your require more of a vertical angle to access the sensor than the O2 Torque Tool / box end combination provides, you can use an open end of 1-1/4" wrench to access the 1" tall, 1-1/4" wrench connection, on the O2 Torque Tool at angles nearing 40 degrees without knuckle-busting slip-offs.
