Description: NSWDG Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) Research, Development, Test & Evaluation (RDT&E) Squadron DeVGru Ft Story - 4 patch set. From early EOD logo with Navy cutlasses signifying their fighting capability to the later Crusader long swords of today's logo. Included are two standard patches and 2 proof patches that developed into the later, issue patches and logos. These were a grouping of Medium hook backed patches done for the EOD Specialists and Technicians assigned to the Command. These are rated as "used" unissued condition. Very few were left over from the initial orders. The proofs were not discovered until the sewn in details were explained. Cool patches, especially if you collect "cool guy" emblems. These emblems were developed during the time before the current digital camouflage was issued. Most were designed for standard EOD working uniform, which was woodland camo. Sizing designed to fit on 3"x3" area, specifically on plate carriers and on Combat uniform sleeves, except for last patch, which was designed to be extra large and has been seen stitched in digital camouflage material . All patches have mil-spec hook sewn on back. We do not hand pick emblems out of this pattern....all that are shipped are excellent condition. Each buyer gets the best condition patch at the time of purchase. Made as a morale patch here in Virginia Beach, VA using private morale and rec. funds. Design is copyright protected.
