Description: This is a "new old stock" Steinberger GM-5 guitar body made in the original Newburgh, NY factory, circa 1987. It's routed for a H-S pickup configuration, a TransTrem or S-Trem bridge system, and a 5-bolt neck mount. It's in unused condition, there are small areas of finish wear along the bottom edge above the input jack (pics 2,6 & 7) and along the edge of the neck pickup cavity (pics 8 & 9). Otherwise, the finish is excellent. The neck pocket is very snug and may need to be cleaned up a bit before mounting a neck. There are no cracks or structural issues.
