NOS "CATHY" VINTAGE 16"Cloth Doll from the Comic Strip CATHY #3973, made in 1982

Description: NEW OLD STOCK, STILL ON CARDCATHY Doll"Cathy Comments On Life"Doll is 16 inches tallFresh from the Comic Strips of the 1980'sModel #3973Handcrafted by CALIFORNIA STUFFED TOYS and Made in HONG KONG in 1982The doll is still on the card inside the box, the box shows normal wear being 42 years old. Of note, when I opened the box to inspect the doll there were some newspaper clippings from the Sarasota Herald Tribune Newspaper Mother's Day Edition May 8th, 2005, about the mother of the creator of the Comic strip. I originally got this piece in Sarasota Florida and while I highly doubt this is something that belonged to her it is an interesting bit of information.
