Description: This listing is for one (1) NEW, Norton Roadster OEM STEEL Fuel Tank Mounting Kit. This kit is for use on 1972-74 steel Roadster tanks. It is a UK Norton manufactured item featuring a total of 31 OEM parts. Sixteen (16) 06-06048 front rubbers. Two (2) 01-4999 washers. Four (4) 06-0797 nylock nuts. Two (2) 000011 flat washers (for rear steel strap). One (1) 06-2567 Thick Rubber. One (1) 02-6359 Thin Rubber, Four (4) 06-3215 studs, One (1) 06-3121 Tank strap steel. This kit will allow you to mount your tank at the proper factory height. It will also allow you to adjust the front and rear height to your specific desires. The rear tank strap features padding for the underside of the frame tube. All four nuts are nylock . The two smaller washers are used on the back studs over the tank strap. This is a really nice high quality kit. It will save you a lot of hassle from screwing around with worn or missing parts. Arrives at your door sealed and ready to install. Although specific to the pre Mark III steel Roadster tank, this can be adapted to fit other pre 1975 steel tank models.
