Description: Nocturne by Yamaka Japan Black Roses Pattern - 4 Soup Bowls-7-1/2 inch diameter. Vintage, black rose design porcelain soup dishes, circa 1950's. This design has since been discontinued. Classic roses with leaves are in shades of gray and black in the center left of each bowl, highlighted by a platinum circle, as well as a platinum rim. These bowls are in very good pre-owned condition, with no chips, cracks, breaks or repairs. There is some visible wear on the platinum trim of some plates, consistent with age and use.
