Nice Wilson A2000 PRO XLO Japan RH 1990's baseball glove Kevin McReynolds model

Description: Here is a nice vintage early 1990's made in Japan Wilson A2000 PRO XLO baseball glove for a Right-Hand thrower and thus fits on the left hand. The XLO model glove was first made in 1975, but the Japan made PRO XLO model was made at least during 1990-1992. The glove was top line along with other A2000 models and sold for $147.50 - 175.00 during 1990-1992. The XLO stands for a larger open web glove (while the XLC was for a larger closed web glove). The mitt was made in Japan and is adult sized measuring 12.5" long through the pocket. Can be used for baseball or softball. A great outfielders glove. The glove has the name McReynolds (for Kevin McReynolds of the New York Mets) stamped near the bottom of the pinky finger. I've seen other gloves from this era with names like Gibson and Puckett (seems like there's another one I can't remember). But I know they weren't made like this very often. Stamped on the front of the glove is the Wilson A2000 circle logo in the palm, Grip-Tite Pocket, Snap Action, PRO XLO and Wilson. On the back is stamped Nylon Stitched, Power Snap, Wilson, Japan and McReynolds. Glove has an open backstrap. I think you'll like the glove. The is no owners ink on the glove. The leather is overall pretty nice, but some scuffing at the top of the fingers and along the edges here and there. Not too bad though. There is a small round area on the back of the index finger were the top layer of the leather got scraped off it appears. I took a closeup pic of that. The stamping on the front and back is all readable. There are two nice original black and yellow patches sewn on the back of the thumb. Glove is broken in. The interior and exterior leather is still very soft on this mitt. Interior leather is very soft and smooth with no chafing on it. The lacing appears original and intact with light wear here and there. The leather piping is soft with light wear. The thumb and pinky loops are functional and useable. The glove feels great on the hand.Kevin McReynolds was a right-handed outfielder with a 12-year career in the MLB from 1983 to 1994. A two-time All-America from the University of Arkansas, he played professionally for the San Diego Padres, New York Mets and the Kansas City Royals. He held the MLB record for most steals in a season (21) without being caught (1988, since surpassed). He is most remembered for his years with the Mets.
