Description: VERY NICE! Vintage/Antique Marble's Camp Axe Hatchet #10 Gladstone Michigan USA Nail Puller🇺🇸 I have for sale the only MARBLE'S CAMP AXE #10 that I have ever found. This old axe is a hard one to part with!! The cutting edge on this old MARBLE'S CAMP AXE #10 is the original factory ground edge (see pics). In other words the bit has "NEVER" been sharpened after the axe left the factory well over 100 years ago (see pics). There's some minor chips and nicks on the cutting edge (see pics). The poll end has some light hammer type marks on it, but the original and unique nail puller at the base of the poll end is a bit caved in from bing miss-struck at some point in time (see pics). The axe head has some very very minor scrapes, scratches, ding marks and pitting on all sides of it, all of these things are normal for a vintage 100 + year old axe head like this one is (see pics). The axe head is securely mounted to the original and very unique Marble's hickory wood handle, not loose at all. The handle is in beautiful condition with just a very small crack at the palm-swell knob at the end of the handle (see my 2nd to last pic). But the rest of the handle has no breaks, cracks or repairs on it (see pics). The makers mark: MARBLE'S GLADSTONE MICH. U.S.A. CAMP AXE #10 logo/embossing is still VISIBLE, but a bit faded (see pics). The axe is 16-1/8" long. The head is 5-1/8" long, with a 3" wide bit. And the axe weighs in at 1 pound 9.8 oz.
