Marantz 2285 AM FM PHONO STEREO AMPLIFIER RECEIVER 2285b Click images to enlarge Description This is a vey nice example of the classice Marantz 2285. It is all orignal It plays perfectly. All the lamps work. All the switches and controls have been cleaned. The Speaker output relay contacts have been burnished. The amplifier section has been bias adjusted and DC offset adjusted. The power supply has been checked and I replaced one weak cap in the 50V supply. The rest of the receiver is original and has not been recapped. No other parts have been replaced. Cosmetics are very good inside and out. All functions, including PHONO FM AM TAPE and tape monitors have been tested. I have been listening to it every day for a month with no issues. Beuatiful vintage sound with plenty of power for almost any speaker system. Would make a great Christmas present for someone. Please see all pictures. They are of the exact item you will receive.
