This auction is for an original Czech folk costume shawl purchased in 1997. Still in the original package and never used. The sticker on the shawl indicates that it is 100% cotton and the highest grade shawl. There is also washing and ironing information. Traditionally there were wrapped and worn as large headdresses. Suitable for folk costumes from Moravia, Slovakia, Poland, Russia, Spain, and anywhere else that this style was popular. Could also be used as a tablecloth or other home decor textile. Measures approx. 54" square. A great find in original, unworn condition!
