Feel free to send us your wants lists. Grading and the differences in different Eagle V2 date ranges Most issues have normal age fading and possible foxing due to their age. Several other titles merged into Eagle V2 during its lifetime including Scream!, Tiger, Battle, Mask and Wildcat. The style started in tall magazine format and then went to newspaper style paper like early 2000AD, and then back again. The early issues dont have issue numbers on the covers unfortunately. Quick summary of style changes: Issues 1 (27 March 1982) to 78 (17 September 1983) in magazine format Issues 79 (24 September 1983) to 258 (28 February 1987) in newspaper style paper (like 2000AD issues below 500) Issues 259 (07 March 1987) onwards back to tall magazine format. All issues are compete with colour centre pages intact (the newspaper style ones). No free gifts are included. Newsagent marks These issues have NO newsagent marks. Around 50% of issues have newsagent marks. In the UK, comics and newsapers were reserved (or reserved and delivered) by local newsagent shops and the newsagents wrote the customers names are sometimes the addresses on the covers. There were often delivered by paper boys and girls. Writing was either in pen or pencil, and occationaly markers or felt tip pens.
