Description: You are looking at a Hand made Native American Peace pipe. If purchased you will receive the exact pipe and stem shown in the photos. It is brand new, fully functional, never been used or blessed. Would work well for a personal prayer peace pipe since it is large enough for one or two people to smoke from. It would also make a fine addition to any collection. This pipe was made out of Canadian Steatite which starts out grey in color and after sanding and polishing it will finish a midnight black. This is an “elbow” style. Traditionally used by a woman or a young single male. This particular stone is ideal since it is harder and holds up to heat exceptionally well so the pipes last a long time. The bowl itself measures 2- 1/2 inches long and stands 2-1/8 inches tall. The pine stem alone measures 9 inches long and left plain so the buyer may decorate how ever they see fit. The exterior of the stem is burned to high light the natural beauty of the wood grain. The stem is sealed tight to the bowl when connected with no air leaks. I have two pictures with the pipe and stem joined together to show that it is drilled straight. The total length of the pipe bowl and stem when connected is 11 inches long. The pipe is signed “Loud Thunder” as that is my given Indian name. I am a 5th generation Pipe maker, a lineal descendant of the Sisseton-Wahpeton Tribe although not enrolled myself. I’m happy to send any additional photos or answer any questions. I do have several listings at this time and will also take personal orders done through eBay. At check out, the state on Minnesota will assess a sales tax. This is out of my control and I do not profit from it. Thanks for looking!
