Narex 1/4" (6 mm) Cranked Neck Paring Chisel

Description: 1/4" crank neck chisel with stained Hornbeam handle These Crank Neck chisels are made by Narex in the Czech Republic and are of exceptional quality. Due to the offset handle, these chisels can access hard to reach places that other chisels cannot touch. They are also perfect for flush trimming. The blades are bent at a 30 degree angle and are made from fine-grained, nicely tempered chrome-manganese steel and hardened to Rc 59. The blades are have a slimmer cross section than other bench chisels. These chisels are available in the following sizes: 1/4”, 1/2”, 3/4” and 1”. Cutting edges are ground at a 25 degree angle. Blades are 4 1/2" to 5 1/2" long. Handles are stained Hornbeam and 5 inches long. Overall sizes range in length from 9 3/4" to 10 1/2". Blades have well-seated heavy steel tangs and handles have a solid brass ferrules. These chisels are an excellent value in a good quality tool.
