Description: Morton Converse Co. 701 Open Summer Trolley Wind-Up Floor Toy. Used and from the 1901. All original. Untested, I do not have the key for it. This trolley was made by Morton E. Converse and Company circa 1901. It is a wind-up toy and has a large spring mechanism to drive it. It has 6 seats that reverse like the real trolley. On the roof is a 6-inch stamped-steel trolley pole. There are mounting brackets for 4 destination boards. One of the destination boards is missing. The trolley measures 16" long. In the early days of Lionel around 1901 Lionel purchased trolley bodies from Converse. to create the Lionel 300 electric trolley car from 1901 to 1905. NO PO Boxes. You get what is pictured.
