Description: i have never touched this...i bought a small collection from very old friends on coast......this fellow kept many fishing stuff in a boat cabin he once owned.....its pre 1955,montague wood rods were ended in 1955.....looks to never have been used...it has a fish measuring makers up on rod,has rolling end which means it was a trolling boat rod...maybe mackerels or long skinny ones..cant remember name lol i allways dreamed of a 1940s fishing boat redone and fish with the old rods and reels to see what it was like......68 inches with a penn super made in the 50s..it has what looks like a metal copper line ???.....ITS MEANT TO DISPLAY TO ME,IITS FISHING HISTORY,IT WILL HAVE STORAGE BLEMISHES I GUESS..NEEDS NICE CLEANING....i have researched everywhere,i cant rind that tag on rod anywhere so far....fishing then used rods,reels...and tossed them in trash...thats why i keep having trouble locating boat/surf rods from 1890s on
