Description: Michael Kors Denpasar Standard Pillowcases Black White Leopard Print New Inspired by the white beaches and laid back style of its namesake--the capital city of the province of Bali, Indonesia--the Denpasar bedding collection from Michael Kors offers an exotic look that will create your own island paradise in any bedroom. The 100% cotton duvet (comforter cover) is a jacquard pattern that resembles a traditional ethnic ikat tie-dye in a dusky gray, and it's complemented by sleek black decorative pillows, shams, and bedskirts (sold separately) . Two sets of sheets are offered with this collection--a 350-thread-count animal print and the more austere 400-thread-count Stanhope set with black piping (both made from 100 percent pima cotton). Sheets, bedskirt, shams and comforter are machine washable for easy care; suede pillows and euro shams require spot cleaning. Imported. THE URBANE ART OF DONALD MACKAY Born in Halifax, Nova Scotia, artist and illustrator Donald Mackay, 1914 - 2005, was also able to trace kin in Manhattan back to the 1640s. His love of its buildings, its urban environment and its history focused Mackay's art. One product of this is his book, The Building of Manhattan; another is a poster celebrating the Metropolitan Opera's inauguration of its new home at Lincoln Center in 1966. Other projects included a series on space flight and illustrations of the White House. Mackay's Metropolitan Opera poster also offers a bird's eye view, this one of opera production. There's everything from the performance, orchestra and audience, to scenery changes being prepared for entr'acte to rehearsals taking place at various places throughout the building, set construction on upper floors and storage areas at subbasement levels. In vast workspaces three and four floors above stage level, scenery "flats" are laid out, fabricated and painted. These flats are always taller than life, at least in part to provide perspective for theatergoers in the Met's upper Balcony and Family Circle. Below stage are dressing rooms, rehearsal areas and subbasement building services and storage. A Met loading dock and its passers-by.
