From what I read, it was made to promote Metallica's Australian tour in 1993 - Vertigo made gold versions of their first five albums on CD. This is a limited edition and hard to find gold CD version. The CD is in good plus (G+) condition with some scratch & scuffs that you can see in the cd pics - it has been play tested and it plays and sounds great, the case has some minor scuffs, but the structure is great with no cracks or anything and the inlay is in very good condition - please see the images that were taken of this item that is being sold for confirmation of condition. I try to show many images with various angles so that the buyer knows what they will be getting and I don't use any stock images. This rare and limited edition album is a must-have for any Metallica fan and their second to none style of heavy metal.
