Description: Here is an interesting Masonic medal. It is about 51mm (2 inches) in diameter. Issued in 1914 it was made by Whitehead-Hoag and has their name on the edge. On the obverse: One Hundredth Anniversary Grand Commandery State of New York with a portrait of DeWitt Clinton, First Grand Commander, along with the dates 1814 and AO 696. On the reverse there is the profile of Sir John B. Mullan, Grand Commander K.T. of New York State, along with the dates 1914 and AO 796. This has obviously been handled a good bit and has some visible scratches and dings. Looks like it was plated in gold originally, most of that remains. Seems to be kind of scarce See our other listings for more Masonic collectibles and other interesting items!
