Description: Here is something I am sure someone can put to good use on their layout. This is a heavy stamped steel, factory painted black 0-4-0 steam engine with tin lithographed New York Central #551 coffin type tender. It is AC powered electric, O gauge, and as you can see in the short bench test video I have included, it runs in both forward and reverse, and the headlight works fine. Could definitely use a good cleaning and lubrication to run better, but at least you can see it works. Not perfect, does have signs of playwear and some scratching, but the factory brass colored nameplates with black lettering are better than most of these that I see on eBay and at train shows. The engine has a tab and slot rear coupler. The New York Central black lithographed #551 tender with white lettering sand rivets has 4 stamped metal wheels on metal axles and riveted tab and slot couplers on both ends. Photos show the engine & tender from all 6 sides, plus closeup of the motor, with a yardstick in the shots for size reference, plus that (admittedly poor production quality) video to show operation. Priced reasonably, with only actual USPS Ground Advantage or Priority Mail shipping cost for the nearly 3-pound package charged to the winner!
