Description: This matchbook was found at a local estate sale inside multiple packed boxes and a large basket. They are all from the 1930’s and I believe were sales samples. The variety and versions are wide in scope but gas and oil are a category they kept samples of along with match company samples. Amazing layout, lettering, and paper material. The quality of these vintage matchbooks is much much higher than anything I’ve ever had. Just a lovely piece of artwork from almost 100 years ago. It’s a little piece of collectible artwork.
