Mark Twain Tomato Seeds | Heirloom | Organic | Rare

Description: (Indeterminate/85 days) The history and name of the Mark Twain heirloom tomato are a mystery as Mark Twain was said to not like tomatoes. It's one of the rarest varieties with very few known producers, but it's definitely one worth preserving. This is one of the best tasting, well-balanced beefsteaks, producing huge yields of 8-24 ounce ribbed fruit. If you are a seed saver at heart this is a good one for your collection. Do not plant out until 2 weeks after last frost. Tomato seeds require high soil temperatures for good germination rates. We highly recommend heat mats to ensure and speed up germination. Pot up to 3–4 inch pots when first true leaves develop (not cotyledon leaves). Harden off plants for 1-2 weeks in full sun before transplanting them outside (after last frost). Make sure to give tomato plants a lot of space for vigorous root and foliage growth.
