Extremely light weight with size small/medium weighing only 5 lbs. (2 kg) yet delivers 41 lbs. (18.5 kg) of lift. High quality, compressible and durable material is used on the shoulders, back, and weight pocket areas for greater comfort. Integrated quick release weight system - The simple and easy to operate integrated weight system uses simple release buckles. Included weight pockets vary in size depending on the size of the BCD. XL includes two 13 lbs. (6 kg) capacity pockets and 9 lbs. (4 kg) for the M/L and XS/S. Inside hook and loop to section the pocket in case you don't use the full capacity. The most modern and reliable integrated weight system: spacious, simple, and easy to use. Weight pockets are made of durable polyester 600 and ABS plastic material for long life. The weight pockets have zippered closure for positive weight retention. Trim Weight With the Magellan, you can use weight pockets that can be placed on the back, on the tank-fastening strap (optional), for better weight distribution. A large folding and self-draining pocket is positioned on the right side of the cummerbund. Aluminum D-Rings - Two 1.6" (40 mm) D-rings below the weight pockets, and two 1" (25mm) D-rings on the shoulder straps. With torso adjustable shoulder straps, adjustable chest and waist straps, all equipped with squeeze-style side release buckles for easy donning and doffing. Concave ergonomic shoulders (patent pending) increased comfort in chest/shoulder area provides trouble free comfort for female divers. New concave curvature shoulder straps - These new shoulder straps have an unprecedented ergonomic shape, designed to meet the needs of the female diver as well. Ultimately allowing for maximum comfort and freedom of movement. BCD comes standard with 3 pull-dump/overpressure relief valves, one incorporated into the top of the Ergo Inflator; one located on the right shoulder and a third is located on the rear lower right. Activation of the valves are made easy with both the upper and lower right valves coming with pull cords and the valve incorporated into the Ergo Inflator is activated by an internal cable attached to the inflator mechanism. Inflator includes a 3/8" threaded low pressure quick disconnect hose. BCD is made from durable 420 Cordura nylon fabric with a urethane internal laminate with radio frequency (RF) welded seams for air-tight integrity. BCD has a foldable non-ridged backpack for compact transport and strap loop backpack feature for easy adjustment. - Mares Prestige 15X Regulator - Introducing the Mares Prestige15X first stage, a compact and reliable regulator that meets the demands of divers at any depth. Featuring the DFC system, it ensures longevity and top performance. The medium-sized, ultra-light techno-polymer second stage has a large purge button for easy use with gloves, and the VAD system provides natural breathing at all depths. The super-flex hose offers maximum comfort and flexibility. The balanced diaphragm first stage is environmentally sealed, protecting internal parts from contaminants like salt, sand, and chlorine. Prestige15X uses A.C.T. Advanced Coating Technology to optimize performance, safety, and reliability. The valve is 600% more durable than its predecessor, thanks to its tri-material construction. The dynamic flow control (DFC) minimizes intermediate pressure drops during inhalation, ensuring stable airflow in extreme conditions. The first stage has 4 LP ports with 3/8" and 2 HP 7/16" ports for gauges or air integrated consoles. The second stage's Vortex Assist Design (V.A.D.) system creates a swirling vortex for sensitive and easy breathing at all depths. The "mesh-grid" system improves water inflow and outflow, while the compact exhaust tee enhances hydrodynamic performance. The Fluid Dynamic Deflector directs airflow from the bypass tube to the mouthpiece for effortless breathing, all within a lightweight techno-polymer housing. The super-flex hose is lightweight and soft, ensuring freedom of movement and reduced jaw fatigue. The 3/8" threaded hose measures 31.5" (80cm), and the entire regulator weighs 34 oz. (965 g). - Mares Prestige Octopus - The Prestige is a mid-size octopus with a stylish design, strengthened by technology to give steady, natural and effortless breathing. All Mares second stages are a reliable downstream valve design and offer the unique patented Vortex Assisted Design (VAD) system. The air bypass tube conveys air to the mouthpiece creating a swirling vortex with a low-pressure area in the center that keeps the diaphragm down during inhalation, for very sensitive and easy breathing at all depths. Furthermore, the compact and ergonomic exhaust tee ensures superior hydrodynamic performance and reduced exhalation resistance. The mouthpiece is made of soft hypoallergenic silicone: limiting jaw fatigue and offering a secure fit even after very long dives. Mares Octopus Prestige incorporates the Fluid Dynamic Deflector, developed after in-depth studies and tests of fluid dynamics, is engineered to receive and properly direct the airflow from the bypass tube to the mouthpiece. Combined with the VAD system it delivers very natural and effortless breathing. Mares developed the Superflex hose after many years of testing and research. The results achieved far surpassed the tests required by EN250. Hose is extremely light weight and exceptionally soft, guaranteeing the maximum freedom of movement and further reducing jaw fatigue. The regulator comes with a high visibility yellow cover and Superflex hose that is a 3/8" threaded high flow hose and is 39.4" (100cm) in length. The regulators total weight is 13.33 oz. (378 g). Regulator is nitrox ready up to 40% oxygen out-of-the-box. - Mares Mission 2 Gauge Console, Imperial - Mares has always paid special attention and devotee's its self to ergonomic design. The material used in manufacturing Mares instruments boots, are highly shock resistant elastomer to protect the gauges accuracy and affords a secure grip in every situation with any type of glove. The compact pressure gauge with its durable brass case and techno polymer lens has a luminesce dial for easy reading in day or night diving situations. Face of pressure gauge is color coded for safe air reserve in a glance. Pressure gauge has 0 to 5,000 psi readout with a safety reserve 1000 psi color coded in red to allow the diver to know that they are low on air. The 2000 psi to full scale is color coded in blue. The pressure gauges 7/16" UNF neoprene jacket double braided high-pressure hose has a 360 Degree swivel and is 36" (90cm) long. Gauge is nitrox ready to 40% oxygen out of the box. This very accurate oil filled depth gauge reads depth from 0' to 230' and comes equipped with a maximum depth indicator needle (MDIN). The MDIN is pushed by the gauge depth needle until the diver meets their maximum depth. The MDNI will remain at the maximum depth reached for the duration of the dive to indicate the diver's deepest depth reached during the dive. This feature allows the diver to not record that depth while diving yet will be available upon surfacing for later calculations for repetitive dives. Depth Gauge is color coded for easy and safe reading at a glance. Depth Gauge has a 0' to 230' readout with a safety red color-coded section from 0' to 30'.
