The mandolin comes with a case really rough case needs tlc. and has a right-handed design, making it perfect for beginners, advanced players, and experts alike. With 8 strings and a size that is small by today's standards, this mandolin is perfect for folk and world music. It was manufactured in Mexico in the late 1890s and has been well-preserved over the years. The set includes a case! This antique Mandolin we believe is from between 1890-1900. Really hard to date this but it does have a sticker on the inside (see pics for that detail) and also has a marking of A8378 on the inside as well. Everything appears to be original it all looks really old. There are extra string tails. The strings need adjusting. There is also a 6 inch crack on the deck running parallel with the bottom strings. There are 18 frets. The Mandolin measures 23in. See pics for more details! With proper adjustments this can be fully functional.
