Description: Luneville, K. G. Cobalt Enameled Gold Gilded 22K Cylindrical Vase 1740 till 1850's Mark, sig'd, # Fine Old Beauty! One of one known, very old marks indicate 1740 till 1850's by son of founder signed Jacque Chamberette Jr, Lorraine, France, also looks to have a "sevres" mark a fish looking tag that may have provided the bland ceramic?? Who knows, old, unique beautiful, great condition, no chips, cracks, damages, repairs, at least 90% of 22K gold gilded still on it, very ornate design, enameled, gilded by a master, really pops in a timeless fine art kind of way! Watermark at rim, some gold loss, a few piece of enamel fell out but it is not even noticeable. Measures: 7.5 inches tall, 7 inches deep, 3.25 cylindrical shaped all the way down to the base of 3.25 slight rib, all marks, signature # in place, very lovely piece.Owned for 40+ years, believe it came from my Grandmother who was gifted it at some point in her life, she lived till 94 died in 1955, I was 6 then, remember seeing it in a cabinet growing up, parents used to tell don't touch, someday it will be yours! Now it can be yours, fine Art Nouveau, Arts & Crafts Era Object.
