Description: These are 2 hand fans; one is antique and the other is modern. The antique fan belonged to my grandmother. My mother is now 99 years old so her mother's things are all antique by now. The slats are wood with carvings. The rest is probably silk or another semi sheer fabric. It comes with a cloth case of Japanese (?) fabric. This fan is in very good condition with a very few slats starting to separate or with a small chip. The 2nd fan is paper with an Asian drawing of a gnarled tree and 2 cranes. The slats are wood and the fan is in excellent condition. I don't know how old it is.Check out my other items! AUCTIONS: Advantages of Earlier BiddingWhen you bid, it locks in the seller's description. It can only be added to only at the very bottom of the page where no one looks. If you see an error that may discourage bidding, (spelling etc) it is to your advantage to force that error to remain because other bidders may then miss it altogether. Try misspelling your item and see what comes up. An early bid also prevents the seller from later adding a Buy It Now to a listing.
