Description: EDGAR RICE BURROUGHS' THE LOST ADVENTURES OF TARZAN. Fanzine, 5 1/2 x 8 1/2, 52 pages. Very Fine condition. This was published in the 1970s. It reprints obscure Tarzan and ERB related magazine articles from the 1930s, 1940s and 1950s and while it doesn't identify the sources, I do recognize the sources of some. Besides movie magazine promo/synopsis of Tarzan movies (credited to Edgar Rice Burroughs) there are also newspaper articles about ERB, such as one of his dispatches from the war in the Pacific, and his obituary. There are articles reprinted from WRITER'S DIGEST ("The Tarzan Theme", "Entertainment Is Fiction's Purpose" and "Protecting The Author's Rights") as well as an article by ERB titled "The Citizen And The Police." An interesting and offbeat collection of material. Buyer pays for priority mail or medial mail. Outside the US will be $10.00 on average. One of many rare old ERB collectibles we are currently offering on ebay in auctions and in my Ebay Store.
