Legends Of The West First Issue Bill Picket Error .29 Postage Stamp 1994 Fix

Description: Rare recalled first issue Legends of the west series with the Bill Picket's brother error has the center piece of the collection. Recalled fixing the error of the image that was used for the Bill Picket in the first day issue one stipe from full sheet. Corrected by Bill Picket's family. Instead of the real Bill picket the image of the first run was of his brother Ben Picket by mistake and corrected shortly after first release, but a few had already been released into collections and used. The two men look similar, but the difference is notable in the facial features and body size. The error recalled the whole sheet, but this one was with Bill was used in the mail on a large envelope that required more postage using the full line of the sheet of collector's stamps Legends of the West. The full line is intact including Chief Joseph, Bat Masterson John Fremont and Wyatt Earp bonus. It is loose on one end that reveals the back of Wyatt Earp. Light cancelation marks. Very rare intact and used find that actually was used in 1994 to send this large manilla envelope which contained instruction manual for a mini steam engine which will be listed soon on my E Bay store. Lucky find going through my collectables. It would have been tossed if I did not collect stamps. All items are guaranteed authentic and as in the photos.
